Edinburgh Fun Beckons For RoadBlock Runners

One of Scotland's most popular OCR events - the RoadBlock Run - returns to Edinburgh next month. The date is Sunday 10 September and the venue Holyrood Park for what is both a brilliant introduction to the world of obstacle racing and an opportunity to support Scotland's health charity, Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland (CHSS).

Organisers expect another bumper turnout for RoadBlock Run this year with its emphasis on fun. Regular runners are welcome but this also a great event for occasional joggers, and you can even walk the course.

Obstacles range from inflatables to lorries, so you are guaranteed a 7k you won’t forget! Slip 'n' Slide down the cities famous crags and battle through the foam for charity!

Fancy dress is encouraged – the more colourful the better – and prizes will be awarded for the best team fancy dress and best individual fancy dress. In the past people have tackled RoadBlock Run dressed as penguins, bears, ninjas and superheroes. Spot prizes will also be given out on the day.

You can take part as an individual or grab friends, family or colleagues and take part as a team. Choose which wave colour you want to start in to ensure you’re all together from the start.
