Monster dashWith Halloween fast approaching, runners are looking forward to playing dress-up at this year’s Monster Dash on 28 October. The event, held by University Sport in partnership with Glasgow University Sports Association, features a 5k and 3k night obstacle course at Garscube Sports Complex, Glasgow.

The races are open to all students, staff and community members over 16. All participants will get a Monster Dash T-shirt as a part of their entry, but on the night are encouraged to dress up for Halloween with prizes for the best costumes.  
 
For the first time, this year’s the event will start with a 5k race at 6pm, which is open to only 30 people. The mass participation 3k event, open to 270 people, will start at 6.10pm.
 
An early bird entry rate of £10 is available until 17 October after which the price increases to £15. Entries close on 24 October.
 
Members can enter online via the Glasgow University website. Non-members can download an entry form from the website and pay at either the Stevenson or Garscube receptions.
