There’s only three weeks to go until the award winning Glenlivet 10K returns to Glenlivet Distillery in the Cairngorms National Park. The event, held on Sunday 9 April, came third overall in last year’s UK Running Awards ‘Best 10K’ category, but organisers Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland (CHSS) enjoy claiming to be the ‘best in Scotland’.
The event has made the 2017 UK Running Awards final shortlist once again and with votes closing on 20 March, and Glenlivet being the only Scottish 10k race on the final shortlist, the organisers would appreciate runABC Scotland readers’ votes. You can vote here.
The course follows quiet country roads which meander around the River Livet, passing ancient castles and providing amazing views of this secret glen. The event start and finish are based at Glenlivet Distillery – you won't find an event with better facilities or posher toilets!
