Many inspirational stories emerged from the 2017 Glasgow Men’s 10K and now is the perfect time to start preparing for next year’s event. Early bird entries for 2018 are available now.
This could be the perfect opportunity to make your first strides into running; with just under a year to prepare it could be the motivation you need to improve your fitness, raise money for a cause close to your heart and to take part in THE event for men in the west of Scotland.
As is tradition, the 2018 event will once again take place on Father's Day - Sunday 17 June 2018. The date also coincides with the final day of Men's Health Week.
runABC’s Terry Brennan took part in this year’s event and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
“The atmosphere and organisation were both superb – it’s a real family event. And with it being held on Father’s Day, it makes it that little bit more special,” Terry explained.
“Another thing that was noticeable was the number of charity runners, all supporting fantastic causes and backed by the huge number of supporters who line the route and drive you on to the finish – I’ll certainly be looking to be back for the 2018 race.”
