Time is running out to take advantage of the standard entry price for this year’s Kilomathon Scotland with that rate closing on Monday (2 March) at 5pm. The event features three unique distances and will be held in Edinburgh on Sunday 29 March.
Organisers GSi Events say: “Kilomathon is a distinctly different race distance. The route is picturesque and traffic free along Edinburgh's scenic cycle routes with an awesome finish at BT Murrayfield Stadium. It's the perfect early season chip-timed training event. Last year's race sold out, so make sure you get your entry in early to guarantee your place. There's plenty of time to put some hard work in and achieve your goals. So go on, set yourself a target and go for it!”
The event takes place in Edinburgh and is run on the beautiful Edinburgh cycle path network. Participants take in the historic Royal Yacht Britannia, picturesque Victoria Park and enjoy tranquil cycle paths before a fantastic finish in front of the West Stand at BT Murrayfield Stadium. There are three Kilomathon distances to choose from - the 13.1k is an excellent distance for those looking to step-up from a 10k and training for a half/full marathon, or looking for a bridging gap between a 10k & half marathon. The 6.55k makes an ideal step up from a 5k, or as a stepping stone to the 10k distance. The 2.62k junior race is a fun race for kids and takes place in BT Murrayfield Stadium, the home of Scottish Rugby.
