Just 7 days until Scotland welcomes one of its most iconic races and preparations for the Baxter's Loch Ness Marathon are gathering pace. In what will be the 10th anniversary of the event, more than 8,000 people are expected to take part in the various competitions on Sunday, October 2.
In anticipation of the scores of running enthusiasts flocking to the Scottish Highlands over the course of the weekend, specialist retailer Run-4-It is offering last minute essentials for all those taking part in the marathon, 10k, and the River Ness 5k.
The Run-4-It team on Huntly Street, Inverness, is offering a range of nutritional products, discounted clothes, and injury prevention advice in the lead up to the race. The branch has set up a Garmin charging station so you can be sure to keep track of that potential PB.
The running and footwear specialist has also organised a special one-day sale at the Palace Hotel, on the Ness Walk, for Saturday, October 1 on the eve of the event. With discounted rates of up to 50% on a range of clothing and accessories, the Run-4-It team will ensure each runner is prepared for whatever surprises the 10th Loch Ness Marathon may hold.
The Run-4-It branch is based at 26 Huntly Street, Inverness, while the one-day sale on Saturday, October 1, will be held at the Palace Hotel, 8 Ness Walk, also in Inverness. To view the products Run-4-It offer, you can visit their website.
