People of Dundee and Aberdeen, why not forgo the shops and the DIY this weekend and do something a little more active instead? Big Fun Run 5K events are scheduled to take place in both cities this weekend and you are invited to join in the fun.
Dundee kicks things off at 11am tomorrow in the city's Camperdown Park while Aberdeen's Hazlehead Park is the venue for Sunday's run, again with an 11am start time.
Organisers told scottishrunningguide.com, "This is an event for all kinds of runners, it is not competitive and not timed. Lots of people choose to run with their children, some of whom are still in their buggies!
"We have even had the 'Beagle Society' join us at one of our events, where around five dog owners completed the course with their hairy best friends."
You don't have to enter in advance and can turn up on the morning to take part. Find out more here.
