Fraserburgh 10k

Over one hundred runners competed in this year’s Fraserburgh 10k on Sunday 14th June. Aberdeen athlete Neil Jaffrey was first home in a time of 36:16, followed by John Goddall (Keith and District) in 36:34 and Barry Ingram (Metro Aberdeen) 36:37.

The women’s race was won by local athlete Gillian Cardno Strachan in a time of 40:48, Gillian’s club mate Lisa Stephens was second in 31:59 and Amanda Jaimison third in 42:57

Bringing up the rear of the field, in joint 107th position, were Peterhead Jog Scotland pair Stuart Main and Carol Ann Milne who both completed the race in 77:01.
