Edinburgh Volunteer SOS

19 MAY2011

Edinburgh Marathon Festival logo

Organisers of the Edinburgh Marathon Festival have posted an 11th hour SOS aimed at recruiting 17 volunteers for the Saturday of the two-day event. An amazing 1,379 individuals will be performing a host of volunteer duties including marshalling on the course and providing first-aid services. That figure is testament to what a great experience being part of the Edinburgh Marathon Festival race crew is.

Now you can join in the fun by signing up to help out on Saturday morning when 17 people are needed to assist at the hydration station of the 10K. It is a half day shift from 7am till 1pm. If you would like to be part of the part of the big event and to help your club or group to raise funds go to the race crew page at the Edinburgh Marathon Festival website.
