Fathers Day Volunteers Needed

9 APR2011

MHFS 10K logo

The Men's Health Forum Scotland 10K is looking for volunteers to help out at their event on Sunday, June 16 (Father's Day) at Bellahouston Park, Glasgow. The race is organised by Men's Health Forum Scotland, a small charity with just four members of staff and it is only possible due to the strong partnerships the charity has built up plus the great support from volunteers.

Now Men's Health Forum Scotland is looking for volunteers to carry-out a number of tasks before the day of the race and also on June 16. Pre-race volunteers are required for promotional work at other running events in Scotland - this will include handing out flyers and a lot of smiling! They are also hoping to recruit jog leaders to lead a men's jogging group.

On event day the charity needs people to act as route stewards, bag drop tent attendants, helpers at the finish, security and drink station helpers.

If you would like to play your part on a great summer's day of running fun then contact Men's Health Forum Scotland through their website.
