Run a Wee Race Tonight

5 JUN2009

Carnegie Logo

What better way to spend a Friday evening than running in a wee race in Fife? The Friday Night Series, organised by Carnegie Harriers, consists of a number of 1 and 2 mile, short, sharp and steep races in traffic free, Pittencrieff Park, Dunfermline. Tonight's event is only 2 miles long and the start and finish are both downhill... but of course, this means the middle section is all uphill! The wee event has never attracted more than 30 runners and last year had a record low turnout of 8. With the entry fee being only £2, free for under 16s, and prizes in all categories what have you got to lose?
