Still Time For New York Half

4 FEB2011

Paula Ratcliffe at the New York Half Marathon

Just 6 weeks to go until the New York City Half Marathon but there are still a limited number of guaranteed places still available from Sports Tours International. The move of the race in 2010 from August to March produced a field of nearly 12,000 finishers - the most in the event's five-year history and a bigger turnout is expected this year.

The NYC Half Marathon is a ideal preparation for a full marathon later in spring so entrants in London, Paris, Brighton and Edinburgh marathons will all be tempted. The race finishes in Lower Manhattan so it's a trip with great sight-seeing possibilities as well as training objectives.

For details ofpackages to the NYC Half Marathon go to the website of Sports Tours International, the running holiday specialist.
