Despite a cold morning parkrunners were out in force on Saturday in Scotland - 752 took part - a record turnout across the three races. There was also a record individual event turnout of 370 in Glasgow. Youth dominated there with Victoria Park/City of Glasgow AC's Ethan Sloane-Dennison (16:16) outpacing Giffnock North's Neil Gourley by just 15 seconds. Both teenagers recorded PBs.
In Edinburgh Jill Knowles was first lady in 17:58 while other highlights were vet Davie Black's 50th run in 22:46 and first-timer Karri Hunter's mid-point placing in 23:15. Another youngster Central AC's Ross Milne ran a PB (16:36) to finish first at Strathclyde Park with first-timer Claire Cooper leading home the ladies in 18:54.
