Three Days To Go

There are just three days until the Albert Bartlett Edinburgh Marathon. And the 2009 race promises to be the biggest ever with 13,000 marathon runners and 4,000 team relay runners signed up.

Damien O'Looney, Edinburgh Marathon Marketing Director told www.scottishrunningguide.com;
“Thanks to the support of our sponsors including Albert Bartlett we will be giving runners an even better experience this year. Technical t-shirts for every finisher, free entries for all sub 2:40hr men and sub 3:00hr women and an excellent medal for every finisher. These improvements have meant increased demand for places."
The weather forecast is good for the weekend in Edinburgh and on Sunday it is expected to be sunny with maximum temperatures around 18 degrees C (wind - ESE 9mph; humidity - 67% with good visibility).
