Strathclyde parkrun Cancelled

Organisers of Strathclyde parkrun have decided to cancel this Saturday's event due to the continuing snow fall and icy conditions.
They said: "Given the extreme bad weather this week - we have decided to give advance warning that we have decided to cancel our event on Saturday (04/12/10). We have not taken this decision lightly - but the road network around the west of the city is extremely bad and further snowfall is expected. We will be back on Saturday 11/12/10. Sorry!"
Hopefully this extreme weather is going to relent a little over the course of the weekend and into next week. Remember, if you can't do without your weekly parkrun fix - Pollok parkrun in Glasgow is still scheduled to go ahead as normal (and it is a big event for them - their 2nd anniversary - so why not help them celebrate?).
