16 NOV2010

Women's 10k 2010

Entries for two of Glasgow's biggest race days are now open, and runners can now sign up for the Women's 10K and Great Scottish Run. Runners are being given a special chance to enter at discounted prices, with package prices for ladies who want to enter both the Women's 10K in May and Great Scottish Run in September.

The Women's 10k is one of the most highly anticipated races on the women's racing calendar. The 2011 race will take place on May 8 with more than 10,000 women taking to the streets of Glasgow. Organisers also have a 'Face of the Race' competition each year, where four ladies are chosen to front the race campaign. Women have until the end of the week to be in with the chance of becoming the 'Face of the Race 2011', and winning a great prize package!

The Great Scottish Run is a race day spectacular with a 10K and half marathon taking place on September 4, 2011. Thousands of runners take part in a race that creates a fantastic atmosphere throughout the city.

Entries can be made for both races on the Run Glasgow website, with the special rates closing at the end of the year.
