Ready Steady Santa At Haddo House

The Running Shop Aberdeen and Oldmeldrum Rotary Club have again joined forces to bring the Santa Fun Run/Walk Spectacular to Haddo House Country Park this year. The popular event will take place on Sunday, December 5 and sees runners and walkers of all ages take on a sponsored course around the beautiful estate in the Aberdeenshire countryside.
Kids of 12 and under can take part in a 3K fun run at 12 noon on the day and children of 9 or younger will get to run a 2K course at the same time. Following that will be the main 5K fun run at 1pm. The runs will be followed by mince pies and mulled wine.
Prizes will go to the first three running and walking Santas and sponsorship money will be split between the runners own choice of charity and the Rotary charities, including the 'Challenge to eradicate Polio from the world'.
Entry starts at just £3 for children and £10/12 for adults. Entries can be made on the Running Shop website.
