Half It For Fraserburgh

29 OCT2010

The streets of Fraserburgh will be filled with runners on Sunday, November 21, as 200 half marathon hopefuls compete in the annual Fraserburgh Half Marathon. The popular race is organised by Fraseburgh Running Club and is always a fun and friendly affair, with the team providing runners with tea and soup as they cross the finish line.

The route starts in Fraserburgh, taking runners around some of the towns roads before heading through the Philorth Estate and onto the Formartine and Buchan footpath and some minor roads. The route doubles back to head back towards the finish in Fraserburgh.

Runners can enter the race for just £14 in advance and £16 on the day. Fraserburgh Running Club also organise a 10K race in the town each spring. More information about the race can be found here.
