Run 10K To Help Beat Cancer
7 OCT2010
The Cancer Research UK Run 10K series will come to Edinburgh's Hopetoun House later this month, with over 1,000 runners running around the picturesque grounds of the house and raising money for Cancer Research UK's vital work.
The race, on October 17, will start in front of the stunning Hopetoun House before moving to the small farm roads that circle the estate. The route will then re-enter the grounds, taking in the undulating gardens that surround the house. The terrain will be a mixture of flat road surfaces, uneven soft ground and leafy paths in the House estate.
There is still time to enter the race, which will be the only in the series to take place in Scotland. For more information, visit the Cancer Research UK Run 10k website. The charity also holds a series of 5K 'Race for Life' races across the country in late spring each year. Details of the 2011 races will be posted as soon as they are available.
