Half a Hundred Haddies

Almost fifty runners took part in the Anster Haddies/Quarriers 5k road race in the Fife seaside town of Anstruther on Sunday 17th May. The traffic free route took runners along farm tracks and country roads. Anster Haddie,Chris Russel was first home in a time of 17:19, with Morgan Murphy of Fife AC being the first woman, in a time of 18:48. Bringing up the rear in forty-ninth position was Willy Duff in 30:08. Full Results.

The event raised over £250 for Quarriers, a charity which provides support and care to assist people in overcoming physical, mental or emotional problems.
