New Beginners Courses With Glasgow Running Network

2 SEP2010

Runners in one of Glasgow Running Network's races

Glaswegians looking to take up running will have the opportunity to join Glasgow's Running Network with a series of beginner running groups starting on September 13. The groups will run through a course of 10 weeks, with progressing sessions throughout the duration of the course. Groups will meet weekly at the following Glasgow Club locations:

Mondays 7:30pm
Springburn
Castlemilk
Scotstoun
Nethercraigs

Tuesdays 7:30pm
Holyrood
Garrowhill Community Centre

Wednesday 7:30pm
Tollcross
Bellahouston

Thursdays 7:30pm
Kelvin Hall

Saturday 9:00am
Gorbals

The courses will help runners who are looking to train for a 5K or 10K, or even just improve their general fitness. They are a great way to make friends and the running network also organises races which group members can enter and enjoy.

For more information or to book on to a course, go to the Glasgow Running Network website.
