Competitors will swim 6 lengths of the pool at Bellahouston Sports Centre before completing two laps of a marked circuit around Bellahouston Park on bikes. The final running stage consists of one lap around a grass course with in the park, finishing by the running track at bellahouston leisure centre.
The race is designed for runners who have never tried a triathlon before and fancy a new challenge. Competitors don't need any special training, just a swimsuit, a bike and a pair of running shoes. Entries are still being taken online for the event, at a price of £16/£18.
