Have A Bash At The Brig
7 JUL2010

This year's Big Bash 5 will take place tonight in Bridge of Earn, with organisers, Perth Road Runners, looking to build on last year's record turnout with another successful race.
218 athletes took to the start line in 2009, for the 5 mile race that takes runners around the picturesque Perthshire village. The race will start at 7.30pm outside the village hall and the course will take runners on fast, flat roads around the grounds of Kilgraston School and back into the village.
The men's course record currently stands at 24.03, set my Chris Robison, and the women's set at 27.38 by Toni McIntosh. With conditions for tonight's race looking favourable, with light scattered showers, these records could be broken this evening.
Good luck to everyone taking part in the race tonight.
