A Jammy Marathon Challenge

25 JUN2010

The Jammys

A group of dedicated runners have been given a special challenge by jogscotland, to run the distance of a marathon through their Healthy Working Lives 5K series. The "Jammys' are taking part in each of the 8 challenges, bringing their total running distance over the races to 40K, however jogscotland have decided to let the group run an extra 2.2K at the final race of the series to complete their marathon challenge.

With only three races remaining in the series, the Jammys are looking for people in Edinburgh and Dundee to get behind them and join in the fun at the two scheduled races in Inverlieth Park, Edinburgh on Tuesday June 29, followed by the final 7.2K race in Dundee on Wednesday June 30.

There is still time to enter these races, part of a series of evening runs organised by jogscotland to promote healthy lives around a working week. To register for one of the three remaining races, visit the jogscotland website.
