Silver Success For Stonehaven Half
14 JUN2010
This year's Stonehaven Half Marathon will be the 25th running of the event and entries are now open for the silver anniversary running of the race, on July 4 2010. The small seaside town is celebrating with a bigger and better race than ever before, with hundreds of entrants expected to toe the line on the day.
This year's race will use chip timing for the first time and each runner will receive a fantastic goody bag, a medal and a commemorative water bottle. With prizes in several categories including first local male and female, the race should have fantastic party atmosphere and be a real fun day out for all the family.
The event will also include a 3K run around the Ury Estate, for runners over the age of 11 and a one km fun run will be open to families with children under the age of 11.
Entry to the Half Marathon is just £14 for unattached runners, with a maximum number of 400 entrants.
