Running For Softies

14 MAY2010

People who have never run before can often find it hard to get started and it can take a while to build an awareness of pace, injuries and set goals. SJ Fitness in Glasgow hold 'Running for Softies', which takes beginners through a 5 week introduction to running course.

The schedule across the 5 weeks includes setting goals and expectations, injury awareness and footwear, breathing, posture and pace setting. The course aims to help new runners get a head start and teach them to train and run safely and effectively from the very beginning.

The next course starts on Wednesday May 19, 6pm and at just £35, includes the opportunity to attend the SJ Fitness running group on Saturday mornings at 10am. Running for Softies can be booked online.
