Call To Help Beat World Record

Achilles Heel in Glasgow is inviting people across Scotland to join them in beating the world record for the largest number of people to run a single relay leg in a 24-hour period. The current record is held by Latvia and Achilles Heel would like to attempt to beat this right here in Scotland.
October 19 2008 saw 3,807 people congregate in the Daugava Stadium in Riga, running a 100 metre leg each, on the track in the stadium. Achilles Heel want the people of Scotland to come together and beat this record in a bid to make the country more aware of their health, as 100 metres is a distance that a large percentage of the population could manage to run.
