Scotland Run in the Big Apple

Central Park and the streets of New York will become a sea of Scottish-ness next Saturday as the New York Road Runners Scotland 10K gets underway.

As part of the Scotland Week celebrations, New York Road Runners are asking locals and visitors to 'Get on your mark and get set to run to the rhythm of the drums and the sound of bagpipes at the Scotland Run 2010!'

The race will be followed by live Scottish entertainment, including A Whisky Kiss featuring the Brooklyn B Boys. The show will lead into an awards ceremony to finish off the day.
