Scotland's Joasia Zakerzewski has won the gruelling women's Atacama Crossing in the dry desert of Chile. The doonhamer doctor completed the final stage to cross the finish line in San Pedro de Atacama in a time of 58:15. Jo led the women's race from the start and placed sixth overall, having completed the entire 250km in an incredible time of 33:37:50. Jo was running in aid of the Marie Curie charity.
