Super Heroes Needed in North Glasgow

9 MAR2010

banner

The fifth Annual North Glasgow 5K Fun Run will take place on Sunday, April 25 in the city's Ruchill Park. As part of the fifth anniversary celebrations, this year's event will take on a super hero fancy dress theme. Go dressed as your favourite super hero, or invent your own! There will be prizes on the day for the best costumes.

The event continues to get bigger and better every year and this year is no exception. 2,900 fun runners are expected on the day making ng5k 2010 the BIGGEST yet!
Last year's event was so popular that places were snapped up in record time and organisers had to close registration over a week early. This year places are being allocating on a strictly first come first served basis so make sure you register early to avoid disappointment!

Nearly 2,600 fun runners took part in 2009, since 2006, ng5k has trebled in size, making it one of the biggest events of its kind in Scotland. Join in the fun for 2010 as they celebrate their fifth anniversary event!

ng5k is open to people of all ages and levels of ability - you don't need to be a serious runner to take part! ng5k is completely FREE to enter and every runner will receive a free special fifth anniversary edition t-shirt, medal, water, fruit and a Tunnock's Caramel Wafer!

You decide how to approach the 5K route; whether running, jogging, walking, or pushing the kids along in their buggy.

* NG5K 2010, SUNDAY 25TH APRIL, RUCHILL PARK, 9.30AM *

Each Fun Run entrant must pre-register. No registrations will be accepted on the day of the event. Anyone under 13 years must be accompanied by an adult. Entrants under the age of 16 must have their forms signed by a parent/guardian.
