Registration from 7.30pm Race Starts @ 8.00pm

Pettycur Bay, Kinghorn is on the Fife Coastal Path and is described as a small, sheltered, sandy bay backed by sand dunes, an ideal spot to stop off and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Firth of Forth. At low tide, Pettycur Bay’s golden sands seem to stretch on for miles. Its peaceful and tranquil surroundings are a haven for visitors. It is an excellent area for walking because of its beautiful scenery. However Fife AC describe the local race there as The Blacker Than Black Rock Race and include it in their annual Nightmare Series of winter races.

Access to Pettycur Bay is via the A921 by car/bus and 5 minutes walk from Kinghorn train station.
