Santa Spectacular at Haddo

On Sunday December 6 it is hoped that a couple of hundred Santa suited runners will take part in a 5K run around the grounds of Haddo Country Park near Ellon in Aberdeenshire.
The first 200 people to enter the race will receive a free Santa Claus costume which is sure to get you in the festive mood on your way around the course. As well as a 5K run there is also a 5K walk and 2K & 3K junior runsl, in fact there really is something for everyone at this family orientated event.
The routes are all flat(ish) road, grass and gravel around a woodland setting and to make things even more magical, the real Santa will be there in his sleigh handing out some yummy mince pies.
This event guarantees enjoyment for all ages with its fun, festive theme. There are also various prizes on the day and and as it is organised by the Rotary Club of Oldmeldrum, it's all for charity too!
