Channel 5 will cover the Bupa Great Edinburgh Run on Sunday 3rd May, broadcasting live from 10.00 am until 11.30 am. The 10K race is one of the most spectacular city centre running events in the world and you could still run in it as online entries will close on Thursday 30th April at 8.00 am. Channel five want to know your reason for running. If you have a special reason for running please get in touch and let the organisers know. Channel five would like to feature the stories of runners in their live broadcast. A great weekend for all the family

After the grown-ups have finished it's time for the kids to get going! The Bupa Mini Great Edinburgh Run is for children aged 3-8 years and covers a distance of approximately 1.5km. The Bupa Junior Great Edinburgh Run is for children aged 9 - 14 years and will cover an approximate distance of 2.5km. Every junior and mini runner will receive an exclusive event t-shirt in their runners pack before the event and every finisher will receive their finishers pack including that all important finishers medal and lots more great goodies.
