The Day the World Runs!

On October 24, runners from all over the world will take part in a global 10K. Want to join them? The Human Race 2009 is a virtual event - no need to get to a venue - you can run your 10K any where, any time on race day. If you're not already, first register with Nike, then sign up to the global 10K. Finally get Nike+ enabled and wherever you run, your Ks will be added alongside runners from all over the world.

A PB-busting run along Aberdeen's waterfront, a slow and steady 10K in Perth. A dawn raid in Dundee or a sunset session in Stewarton. Just sync your run before midnight. If you're new to Nike+ get help with syncing your runs. If you' re a veteran, go ahead and hit the pavement.

This is your chance to be part of a worldwide running celebration. Runners who sign up to Nike+ Human Race 2009 will also receive an exclusive race t-shirt to run in on race day.
