Skye Quiraing 10k Date Changed from August 30 to 29

24 AUG2009

The north end of Skye race has been brought forward by 24 hours and will now be held on Saturday August 29.

The race starts near the beautiful and famous Quiraing and finishes in the village of Uig where refreshments will be provided. Transport is provided to the Quiraing (where the race starts) from the hall in Uig, or runners can be transported back to collect their own cars.

Its a relatively easy run (good for PBs), and very scenic - it's where some of the outdoor filming was done for Stardust.

Rregistration is from 10am at Uig Hall. The race is part of the annual Gala Day.

Date: Sat 29 August 2009

Time: 11:30 start

Cost: £7.50 (includes finishers medal & refreshments)

Contact: Vicki MacLean

E-mail: macleanskye@hotmail.com

The event is open to ages 15+.
