Tour of Clydeside Series of Races

A unique annual series of four races consisting of: a trail race; a canal bank race; a multi terrain race and a 10k road race will be held in and around Glasgow all in the space of five days.

The evening events, held by Dunbartonshire and Renfrewshire Amateur Athletic Associations, start in Kilbarchan on Monday August 3 with a 5.5 mile trail race and finish in Pollok Park, Glasgow on Friday August 7 with a 10k road race. On Tuesday August 4 competitors have a 4.8 mile race along the Forth and Clyde Canal in Clydebank, Wednesday provides a much needed day of rest before runners tackle the 5k multi-terrain Garscube Gallop in Dawsholm Park, Glasgow on Thursday August 6.

With Series Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Male and Female, 1st MV40, 1st MV 50, 1st MV60, 1st FV35 and 1st FV45 and a pre entry fee of only £10 for Scottish Athletics members it could be a good way to start your August.
