Tales Of Adventure Hits Edinburgh
28 MAR2012

After successful events in London and Sydney, Tales of Adventure has launched a Scottish branch and will hold its first session on Thursday, May 17. The inaugural event will be headed by Scottish ultra runner Mark Cooper, perhaps best known for completing 50 marathons in 56 days.
Taking place at the Beehive Inn in Edinburgh's Grassmarket, the opening session will see Martin Myers and Stuart Doyle deliver talks about their own tales of adventure. Martin, aka the Kilted Runner, will be discussing his achievements in running and focusing on his successful completion of the notoriously challenging Marathon des Sables, where he spent six days covering 151 miles.
The other confirmed speaker, Stuart Doyle, will be talking about his gruelling 2011, 3,000 mile cycle from Athens to Edinburgh. Stuart is currently doing his Treble 12 Challenge, which involves doing a different challenge every month in 2012. The third and final speaker for the launch night will be announced shortly.
