Run Home to Scotland in 2009

2009 is Scotland's Year of Homecoming and to celebrate the occasion anyone with a connection to Scotland is being invited to Run Home in 2009 and take part in two new events the Run Home Highland Breakfast Run and the Clan Challenge.
The Run Home Highland Breakfast Run is open to all runners, supporters, spectators, local residents and anyone wanting to be part of the 2009 Baxters Loch Ness Marathon & Festival of Running. It will take place on Saturday, October 3 following a 5k/ 3miles route and is the perfect opportunity to stretch your legs and limber up for the marathon or 10k on Sunday. At the end of the run, a welcoming Highland breakfast buffet will be served with some great Highland tunes.
The Clan Challenge will be introduced into the Baxters Loch Ness Marathon and Baxters River Ness 10K on Sunday 4 October. You are invited to represent your clan (and wear your tartan) in what is predicted as being a fun Battle of the Clans!
