No Glasgow parkrun on August 8
9 JUL2009

Due to the Pollok Park Family Day, there will be no parkrun on Saturday August 8 at Glasgow. However you can still run as there is the Tour of Clydeside Brian Goodwin Memorial 10k being held on Friday August 7 at Cartha Queens Park Rugby Football Club also in Pollok Park. The race starts at 7.15pm and is run over a fast and flat two loop course. All comers are welcome and there will be a get together with food and drinks afterwards, outside weather permitting, or otherwise in the bar. There is also the third running of the Broadwood 5k Fun Run being held at the home of Clyde FC, near Cumbernauld, on Thursday August 13. The race is open to all runners aged 13+ years. This year runners are being asked to support the Kirkintilloch Olympians' charity, Macmillan Cancer Support, through donations or race sponsorship. Further details.
