Take A Flight Of Fancy

31 JAN2012

Flight of Fancy

Wildlife lovers are invited to join a colourful 5km fun run around the bluebell woods of Hopetoun House on the outskirts of Edinburgh, on Saturday, April 28. The run is in aid of the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB), a charity that protects birds, wildlife and the natural environment.

The house is set in 150 acres of rolling parkland, runners can expect some breathtaking views along the 5k route. The theme for the run is birds and wildlife, with fancy dress optional.

There are 500 places available and runners are encouraged to fundraise for the RSPB. Entry is priced at only £10, and you can register for the event by visiting the Flight of Fancy website. If you are interested in helping out, volunteers are also required.
