New Fife Trail Races

2 JAN2012

Carnegie Harriers trail racing

Entries are now open for two new races being held in Fife in February. The events are the Devilla Forest 15, a 15k (9.3 miles) run starting at 11am. The Devilla Forest 5 (3.1 miles) will start immediately after the 15k race at 11.02am.

Both routes are off-road (trainers or trail shoes) with the Devilla Forest 15 following a relatively flat circular loop of Devilla Forest, taking in a mix of fire-roads, paths and single track. The route skirts three lochs and goes through a variety of sheltered woodland. Ground conditions vary from boggy to handpicked. The 5k follows a similarly flattish loop around the Moor Loch which is also within Devilla Forest.

The events are scheduled for Sunday, February 26, 2012 and are organised by Carnegie Harriers. Start is at the Scottish Police College, Tulliallan, Kincardine where facilities include parking, changing, showering and toilets.

Sign up for the new event at Entry Central.
