Triathlon Entries Closing

Entrants have just a few days left to guarantee their place at the 2012 Virgin Active London Triathlon. The world's largest triathlon will be celebrating its 10th anniversary in Olympic year where around 15,000 competitors are expected to take part in the swim-cycle-run event.

Prospective contenders have until November 30 to snap up a guaranteed entry, after that date anyone wishing to take part in the race will have to enter the ballot or take up one of the charity places.

There are a wide variety of distances and disciplines to choose from on the event which starts and finishes at London Excel on the weekend on September 22/23 .

Whether you are a gnarled endurance junkie who wants to test their limits at the Olympic Plus distance with an extra-long bike leg of 90k or a first-timer who is dipping their toe into multi-sport for the first time with friends in the sprint distance relay, there are options to suit all standards.
