The Ultimate Read In Running

9 NOV2011

The Worlds Ultimate Running Races

If reading about a 138 mile Brazil jungle marathon or running in the blistering heat of Death Valley fills you with inspiration rather than trepidation, the World's Ultimate Running Races may well be the ideal festive read for you.

The book, which has been compiled by champion mountain runners Angela Mudge and Jethro Lennox, covers 500 classic races over 101 countries. Both Mudge and Lennox will be visiting Run and Become in Edinburgh on Wednesday, November 16, to discuss the book's formation, including some of the amazing races they discovered while researching it.

The event is free and will take place between 7-9pm at the Run and Become shop in Edinburgh. What's more, you will be able to buy a copy of The World's Ultimate Running Races, which is being billed as 'the book all runners seem to be talking about', at the special price of £13 on the night.
