On a warm sunny day some 218 runners completed the mainly downhill course, with a few winding paths and a number of short but steep climbs for runners to contend with. An unusually nice touch was the sight of the Race Director shaking everyone’s hand as they completed their 13.1 miles.
The race was won by Anstruther’s David Burgess in 1:17:58. Local runner Kelly-Anne Speight won the women’s race in 1:26:54. The last runner finished in just over three hours.
