Next Thursday (May 17) runners will come from all over Scotland and further afield to take part in the first event of this year's Polaroid Eyewear 10K road race series at Helensburgh. Last weekend saw a rain soaked Yorkshire Dales host the Three Peaks Fell Race in the village of Horton-in-Ribblesdale. But the inclement weather didn't dampen the spirits of the 750 runners who took part in the event. Among those runners was Scots pair, Joe Symonds and Sarah O'Neil, who took home the top prizes. Both runners were from the fittingly-titled Hunter's Bog Trotters.
