Dundee Tops 100 In Opening parkrun →

Camperdown parkrun made an impressive debut to the Scottish running scene last Saturday with 106 runners taking part in the 5k event. On a challenging route, Dundee Hawkhill Harriers' Craig Love secured victory in 18:56 with Kelly-Anne Speight of Finn Valley AC leading the women home in 20:38. Adhering to the adage that it never rains at parkrun, the 100 plus competitors were greeted with dry conditions and the occasional ray of sunshine on Saturday morning. Taking place in Camperdown Country Park, the 5k route involves a number of steady climbs before finishing at the wildlife centre.
