News - 5000 Rock Out In Capital

Roch n Roll WinnerThe Rock 'n' Roll Marathon Series made its UK debut on Sunday (April 15) as 5,000 runners took part in the inaugural half marathon event in Edinburgh. For only the second time in the series' history the race was won by a female, Portuguese runner Leonor Carneiro, who completed the 13.1 miles in 1:16.05.

News - Hit The Wall With New Ultra

Hadrian's WallBuilt almost 2000 years ago by the Emperor Hadrian, Hadrian's Wall was originally a military fortification and today stands as a UNESCO World Heritage site and a popular tourist attraction. On June 23 and 24, it is set to become the backdrop for Rat Race Adventure Sport's new ultra distance event entitled The Wall.

Poll ImageThe recent debate about "Barefoot Running" is a controversial one, with some runners now deeply committed to their minimalist shoes, others still prefer shoes that offer support and cushioning.

Most people still prefer to run with cushioning, while some others are considering trying out minamalist running, with committed minamalists in third place this week.
